Project Details

The project entails comprehensive design for roadway improvements along Glenn McConnell Parkway, spanning approximately 2400 feet from Wildcat Blvd to Tobias Gadson. The proposed enhancements include widening Glenn McConnell Parkway to accommodate an additional lane in each direction for the entire length of the project. Additionally, the project involves modifications to the Magwood Drive intersection, including widening and realignment, as well as adjustments to the southbound and northbound approaches toward Glenn McConnell Parkway. The plan also encompasses the lengthening of turn lanes to I-526, as well as the incorporation of sidewalks and bike lanes for enhanced pedestrian and cyclist safety.

During this project, we provided Utility Coordination services, which involved the development of letters and conceptual exhibits for utilities, outlining proposed project routes. We also facilitated scheduling and attended coordination meetings and conducted thorough research to gather pertinent information regarding utility locations, prior rights, and potential conflicts.
