The scope of the project entails creating comprehensive plans for the construction of a 2.2-mile-long, 5-foot-wide sidewalk along Fort Johnson Road. This will involve detailed designs for the sidewalks and enhancements to the curbs along the designated route. The design plans will encompass an extensive range of activities including surveying, development of preliminary plans, right-of-way and construction plans, conducting public meetings, preparing cost estimates, and securing the necessary permits. The proposed approach is to position the sidewalk on the south side of Fort Johnson Road, starting from Bayview Farms Boulevard and extending all the way to the termination point of Fort Johnson Road.
