Starks Industrial Park Water Main Improvements

Project Details

The scope of this project encompasses the identification of suitable new locations for approximately 9150 linear feet of 8" pipe, as well as the placement of fire hydrants and related appurtenances. Additionally, the project aims to enhance the elevation of fire protection for the area, taking into consideration factors such as the location of fire hydrants, system pressures, and fire demands.

To achieve these objectives, the project will involve gathering comprehensive information on the current water usage patterns of existing customers within the specified area, in addition to any prospective plans for commercial development in the future.

In order to execute these tasks effectively, a series of essential activities are scheduled to be undertaken. These include the production of a thorough Basis of Design Report, conducting meticulous preliminary investigations and surveys, procuring all required permits, carefully crafting plans and specifications, providing accurate construction cost estimates, generating bid documents, and soliciting bids from approved contractors. Furthermore, the project will also entail creating as-built drawings and ensuring the completion of all project close-out documentation.
